Firefighters needed about 15 minutes to corral a grass fire in Calaveras County last night. Crews were called
to French Gulch Road just after 7 o´clock and discovered the near acre sized fire.
No one was hurt and no structures damaged. The fire was caused
by an escaped debris burn.
