Yosemite authorities plan to kill a 250-pound black bear that broke into three vehicles early yesterday and
eluded capture by climbing a tree with her two cubs.
Rangers will wait until the bears come down on their own and then tranquilize them with a dart
gun. The mother bear will be killed by lethal injection. The cubs will be sent to a state wildlife center.
