Sacramento County sheriff´s investigators are investigating whether someone tampered with Halloween candy distributed in a suburb of Sacramento.
Sheriff´s officials say parents of a young trick-or-treater found a chocolate bar with 25 staples inserted into it. Officials say the candy had been resealed.
The parents took the candy to a fire department in the Antelope area near Sacramento. Officials say they don´t know where the candy came from.
Sheriff´s investigators are urging parents to examine their children´s candy.
