An Arnold man is being charged with driving under the influence after he ran his SUV into a tree in Arnold.
Highway patrol investigators say 48-year-old Evan Johnson hit the tree while driving on a private driveway. He continued to travel about a mile before the Ford Explorer broke down. He was taken to Mark Twain Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries before being booked for DUI.
