Thieves Make Off With Soda Machine

Tuolumne County Sheriffs deputies report a soda vending machine was stolen from in front of a Soulsbyville business. The machine is valued at $2,000, not counting the $200 worth of soft drinks and $30 in change inside.

Deputies are also investigating the theft of a chain saw, tools, gasoline, a wallet and cell phone from a truck parked on Beardsley Dam Road in Strawberry. Sheriffs say the items, worth more than $400, were taken while the man was out cutting firewood.
