A possible phone scam to watch out for in the Mother Lode. A Sonora resident reports getting a call from someone claiming to block telemarketer calls for her. The caller asked for credit card and bank account numbers, and then re-called when the woman hung up. You´re reminded never to give those numbers to anyone on the phone.
