A 32-year-old San Francisco man drowned this weekend in Comanche Reservoir. Calaveras County deputies say the victim was swimming with friends Saturday night, when he called for help, then slipped beneath the surface about 20 feet from the south shore line.
Attempts to locate the victim Saturday night were unsuccessful. The body was recovered Sunday morning.
