Tuolumne County deputies are looking for a suspect in an attempted burglary to a residence on Race Track Road. The intruder was chased off by a friend of the occupant before he could get in. He´s described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with a goatee and dark, short hair. Deputies say he was trying to pry open a screen window when he was caught.
Deputies are also investigating a burglary at Tioga High School in Groveland, and Sonora Police are investigating a break-in to the Benjamin Fig store on Washington Street.
