Calaveras County deputies have a 19-year-old San Andreas man jailed for assault with a deadly weapon, after a sword attack at the Gold Strike Mobile Home Park last night.
William White was arrested after deputies spoke with several witnesses to the fight. 20-year-old Joshua Crowder of San Andreas was treated at Mark Twain hospital for wounds inflicted with a 3-foot sword. The fight was reported just before 9:00 last night. White is being held in lieu of $40,000.00 bail.
