Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a burglary in Jamestown. The victim reports returning to his Smoke Street home and finding the back door open. The intruders apparently ransacked the residence.
Meanwhile, Sonora Police are investigating the theft of about two-dozen pallets from the side of Save Mart super market on Stockton Road.
