Calaveras County deputies discovered an indoor marijuana garden in a garage on the 32-hundred block of Dunn Road in Valley Springs over the weekend. Arrested was 40-year-old Mark Stearns.
While on a probation search, investigators say they found 75, one-foot-tall pot plants growing at the residence owned by Stearns. He is also charged with possession of a firearm and electricity theft. Bail is set at 35-thousand dollars.
