The Bakersfield man convicted of the torture-murder of his newborn son is headed to prison for the rest of his life.
Christopher Brownen got life-without-parole yesterday for the suffocation death of 39-day-old Charles Brownen last January.
The baby had several broken ribs and head injuries but died from having a golf-ball sized wad of baby wipe shoved down his throat.
