Student Accused Of Attack Back In CA

A 16-year-old special education student accused of assaulting his teacher in a suburban Seattle school is going to be sent back to Bakersfield where a judge will determine what happens next.

The boy was charged with second-degree assault following an attack last month on Jennifer Panico-DiGiorgio who was trying to curb his disruptive behavior at Federal Way High School.

According to court papers, she was backing away when he grabbed her head, twisted her torso, slammed her head on his desk, then he pinned her against the desk with his knee and repeatedly punched her in the head with his fist.

DiGiorgio´s brother says she is recovering from head and neck injuries.
