Calaveras County Sheriff´s investigators have arrested a San Andreas man in connection with the recent burglary of the post office in Wallace. 23 year old Jason Finuf was booked after he turned himself into the authorities in Sacramento. Finuf was identified as a suspect after he cashed two checks that were stolen from the post office. He is being held on 30 thousand dollars bail.
Officials say they have more evidence that have linked a potential suspect wanted in similar post office break-ins in San Andreas and Burson.
The United States Postal Service is offering up to a 10 thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the thefts. If you can help, call the Calaveras County sheriff´s Department.
