A snowboarder has died in an avalanche at the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort near Lake Tahoe. Resort officials say the man was with two companions when the avalanche struck the back side of Mount Judah yesterday. His companions managed to ski away and pointed out the victim´s location to rescuers. The man died at a hospital.
