Fire units were called to the Sierra Pacific Industries Standard saw mill early this morning for a fire in one of the mill´s buildings.
Five engines and two water tenders arrived at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning to find the unoccupied building´s fire sprinkler system had extinguished the blaze.
Damage is estimated at $20,000. Fire officials say the cause is likely accidental, and may be related to welding work being done in the building earlier in the day.
