Easter weekend offers a basket-full of fun for area children and residents. Numerous Easter egg hunts will take place throughout the Mother Lode Saturday and Sunday.
An Easter parade, complete with the floppy-eared Easter Bunny will kick off festivities in Tuolumne City this Sunday at Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Park starting at 1 p.m.
The Columbia Easter Celebration also hops to life Sunday in Columbia State Historic Park. Parade registration starts at 11 a.m. with the parade beginning at 1 o´clock.
