A new permanent ambulance station is coming to Groveland.
A ground breaking ceremony will be held Thursday, April 18, at 10 a.m for the 29,000 square-foot facility to be built on Powder House Road behind the Groveland Medical Clinic.
The building will house two Tuolumne County Ambulance Service units, and have two sleeping quarters, three bathrooms, a kitchen,living room, office and storage room.
