A four-year-old Monterey girl has died after being mauled by at least one of the two family dogs. The girl bitten on her head and body died last night after being taken to a hospital. It was the second dog-mauling of a child in Monterey County within 24 hours. A five-year-old Salinas girl who was in critical condition with severe head injuries was reported in improved condition.
