Calaveras County deputies have a registered sex offender jailed, after a 9 year old Burson girl says she was molested.
64 year old Leonard, “Lucky” Vanderpool was jailed after the girl´s father told deputies she was molested during horseback riding lessons Vanderpool was giving her for free. Deputies would like to hear from anyone who might have had similar dealings with Vanderpool. He´s being held under 300-thousand dollars bail, charged with three counts of lewd behavior toward a minor.
