The field of U.S. cities hoping to bid for the 2012 Olympics soon will be reduced to two.
The U.S. Olympic Committee is cutting the field of four candidates in half. The Bid Evaluation Task Force plans visits to San Francisco, Washington, D.C.; New York and Houston and reach a decision on the two finalists in September.
