A Lafayette elementary school teacher is in jail after being arrested on charges of child sexual misconduct.
Investigators report 47-year-old Charles Liedstrand was arrested by the Contra Costa County Sheriff´s Department early Friday after a two-month investigation into allegations he had molested children. Authorities say they found six victims ranging from eight to nine years of age.
