If you use the Golden Gate Bridge, get ready to open your wallet a little wider. The Golden Gate Bridge District board voted today to jack up the toll to cross the span to $5. Users of the Fastrak electronic toll collection service will pay $4. The toll currently is $3.
The new toll charges take effect September first.
