A weekend fire in Pinecrest did $100,000 damage to a home there.
The Reedstock family from Rio Vista had been at their Pinecrest vacation home since Christmas, but a neighbor called firefighters to the scene around 1 p.m. Fire crews were able to hold most of the damage to the roof area. The family dog was rescued safe and sound, as well.
