A Murphys man is behind bars after two 15-year-old girls reported to Calaveras County Sheriff deputies the man told them they were going to die with him last night.
Authorities say the two girls fled the home on the 400 block of Main Street. Deputies arrested 53-year-old Michael Richard Henderson. They say a loaded shotgun was found next to his bed.
