Mother Lode fire crews were busy over the weekend. Calaveras County firefighters battled a house fire Saturday afternoon on the 1800 block of Medina Drive in Arnold.
The residence was fully involved in flames when fire units arrived on the scene at 1:30 p.m. That blaze caused $300,000 damage to house. The fire also burned an arce of timberland.
Firefighters also fought an 8 acre wildland fire in the Copperopolis area Saturday evening, and a small grass fire on Aspen Circle in Twain Harte Saturday morning.
