House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi says the party should “fight to the end” in California´s recall election.
She says she hopes Democrats can defeat the recall of Governor Davis and, if not, elect Cruz Bustamante. When asked, Pelosi said it would be bad precedent for Davis to resign and turn the office over to Bustamante.
