Smoke From Fires Continues to Annoy

Smoke from some fires burning in the Stanislaus National Forest continued to come down into the Mother Lode over the weekend.

Fire officials say the three fires are the Mud Complex Fire which is burning about 3,700 acres southeast of Bear Valley, the Mountain Complex Fire burning near Pinecrest Lake covering about 2,300 acres, and the Kibbie Complex Fire which has burned about 2,200 acres in Yosemite National Park and on the Stanislaus.

None of the fires are threatening any structures. All of them were caused by lightning in July and August.
