Tulloch Dock Moratorium Could End

The Lake Tulloch Task Force is recommending restrictions be placed on new dock construction at Tulloch Reservoir — restrictions that could end an 18-month-old dock-building moratorium.

According to the Stockton Record, the new restrictions would apply only to new parcels. All existing parcels would be allowed to apply for one dock each, regardless of shoreline length.

A jump in the number of docks and boats on the lake prompted Tri Dam, which owns and operates the lake, to impose a moratorium on dock construction in March 2002.
