High Winds Concern Fire Officials

Officials throughout Northern California are expecting hot, gusty winds that could create high fire conditions over the next couple of days.

The National Weather Service is predicting winds of up to 45 miles per hour through tomorrow in parts of Northern California. The wind could give new life to fires that were started last week by lightning strikes.

Fire officials say there are no wildfires burning now in the Mother Lode.
