Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indian tribe chairman Kevin Day has stepped down from his position. In the leadership role for more than eight years, the 41 year-old Day cites health and family concerns for making the decision.
Tribe Vice Chairman James Fryer will serve as acting chairman until the tribe´s scheduled election this November.
