A 12-acre fire at Lake Don Pedro in the Jacksonville Road area has been contained. Firefighters remained on the scene overnight Tuesday to mop up. That fire was caused by a lighting strike at the lake water´s edge near Mammoth Mine Road.
Also in that area, a small 3-acre blaze was quickly contained. The cause of that fire is unknown.
