Not Clear if Recall Would Include Voting for Replacement

An election on whether to recall Governor Davis could be held as soon as September 23rd. But it´s not clear if voters will also be choosing a possible replacement at the same time.

The secretary of state´s office has long said both elections would be held simultaneously. But, Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante isn´t so sure. He says the rules on recalls only say he should set the date of the recall, not decide whether the ballot would also include a list of possible replacements.
