Some possible good news for the Sonora By-pass project. State transportation officials say highway improvements that were threatened with shut-down because of the late budget will continue without interruption at least for now.
They say local transportation officials have agreed to lend the state cash to keep things going and a number of contractors have agreed to work without pay.
