A massive wildfire is burning out of control this afternoon in Mariposa County. The smoke column from this blaze can be seen to the south of Tuolumne County.
Madera-Mariposa CDF fire officials say the fire is burning along Hunters Valley Road near Lake McClure. Fire officials say this is the same location of the old Hunter´s Fire of a few years ago.
A number of Tuolumne County CDF fire units and firefighting aircraft have been sent to help battle that wildland fire.
