A traffic stop in Mokelumne Hill early this morning turned up drugs and a sawn-off shotgun.
Calaveras County Sheriffs deputies say they stopped San Andreas residents 23 year-old Jeremy Costa and 39 year-old Debra Kenyon along Main Street in Mokelumne Hill just before 2 a.m. this morning. Deputies found the pair in possession of Methamphetamine. Costa was also carrying a sawn-off shotgun. Both were taken into custody and booked into Calaveras County Jail. Costa is being held without bail.
