Most Expensive San Francisco Home

It´s being billed as the most expensive house ever sold in San Francisco — and a Phoenix billionaire is the new owner.

The 32 (m) million dollar work-in-progress is located on Broadway in the ritzy Pacific Heights neighborhood.

It offers views of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.The new owner is Peter Sperling, an executive with Apollo Group. The company runs the University of Phoenix, which caters to students through remote campuses and on-line education. The 17-thousand-square-foot home has a five-thousand-square-foot guest house. It´s currently under construction. Neighbors include Oracle chairman Larry Ellison and Gordon Getty, son of the late oil tycoon, J. Paul Getty.
