Gas Prices Rising

The Triple A says motorists in Northern California are getting hit with the highest gas prices in 15 months.

Drivers that KVML talked to in Sonora are frustrated. One man described it as “horrible.” Another motorist in town says he believes the nation will have to go to a gas rationing system.

The average price for a gallon of regular in Northern California shot up 14 cents in the last month. In Sonora, a gallon of regular will cost you about a $1.79. Gas in San Francisco is the region´s most expensive, at a $1.95 a gallon, while motorists in Chico continue to pump the cheapest gas in the region. A gallon of regular there is $1.57.
