Calaveras County Supervisors could soon be getting an additional $400 a month. The board this week introduced an ordinance that would give a monthly car allowance to all elected county officials except the Sheriff, who drives a county patrol vehicle.
Retirement benefits are also part of the package.
The proposal will be before the board again on Monday.
