A trust fund has been established for 1 year old Halee Eaton. Her mother, Aimee Eaton, was killed April 10th when she was hit by a car as she walked on Stockton Road.
On Saturday, Sonora Police and Fire Departments teamed up for a “fill the boot” fundraiser. Motorists put cash in the boots for the little girl´s trust fund. Organizers say Aimee Eaton was a very “caring and giving soul, and we just wanted to give back to her.”
The “Halee Eaton Trust Fund” is set up at California Central Bank in downtown Sonora.
