A new traffic signal is set to begin showing the red, green and yellow this week in east Sonora. Installation of signal components at the Highway 108 and Hess Avenue intersection is nearly complete. The new signals are scheduled to light-up on Wednesday.
The intersection has also been modified — widened with turn lanes and extra traffic lanes — as part of the new Sonora Bypass project underway in the area.
