A Stockton police officer has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for spanking his 6-year-old daughter too hard. Jared Moore pleaded no contest in March to a misdemeanor child-abuse charge. An emergency room doctor called authorities after seeing severe bruises on the girl´s buttocks.
