Fire crews quickly contained a small grass fire at the Sierra Pacific Industries sawmill off Tuolumne Road in Standard just before 9 a.m. this morning
Fire dispatchers say the fire was about a 1/4 of an acre in size burning near the mill´s log deck and was first thought have been sparked by a transformer explosion. Fire officials are investigating the exact cause of the blaze.
