The Ponderosa Ranch amusement park on Lake Tahoe´s north shore has been sold to PeopleSoft founder David Duffield for an undisclosed sum. Duffield became a residential real estate developer after leaving as head of the Pleasanton,
California-based business software maker in 1999. He´s vague about his plans for the 570-acre western-themed attraction made famous by the 1960s television series Bonanza.
