Fire Crews are heading to the Tuolumne River Canyon near Early Intake off Cherry Lake Rd. A vegetation fire has been reported in that area.
This fire reported to be east of Groveland, north of Harden Flat in the forest area in the river canyon. It´s west of Yosemite National Park. The location of this blaze is said to be where the old stan complex fires were in 1987.
Firefighting aircraft have also been dispatched.
Lookouts are calling it a substantial column of smoke that´s readily visible from Sonora and it appears to be spreading.
