A potentially dangerous wildfire was stopped quickly last night by Calaveras County firefighters. The blaze was reported just before 6 last night in the Diamond XX subdivision off Chuckwagon Drive. The fire blacken about a 1/2 acre before it was contained. That area of Calaveras County near Copperopolis has been the scene of numerous fires this summer.
