That fire on the Stanislaus National Forest is now 90 percent contained.
“Firefighters continue to make excellent progress building fire line around the Tuolumne Incident,” said U-S Forest Service spokesman Pat Kaunert.
Kaunert says the fire has burnt 800 acres now.
Fire officials say they are right on schedule for containment Friday evening.
Cherry Lake Road is now reopened to motor traffic.
