Human Remains Spark Investigation near Copper

Meanwhile, in Calaveras County, investigators there have spent the past month working on identifying human remains found near Copperopolis.

Back on September 7th, the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department investigated the finding of a human skull on a remote piece of property.

Hunters had made the discovery on Bonanza Mine Road.

Afterward, three teams of dogs joined detectives in a search, which resulted in finding a large amount of human remains, which forensic anthropologists will try to reconstruct.
