A Copperopolis man was killed Friday in a 3-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lone Tree and Carrolton roads in Escalon.
24-year-old Timothy Everson Jr. was eastbound on Lone Tree Road, when a car going northbound on Carrolton hit him broadside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
That collision knocked Everson´s truck into the oncoming lane, where it was hit by a 2002 GMC Yukon.
The accident remains under investigation.
