A long-time friend of Scott Peterson´s is on the stand this morning as defense attorneys continue to their efforts to save Peterson from the death penalty.
Aaron Fritz told the jury that he first met Peterson about 17 years ago.
He described Peterson as — quote — “truly sincere, very, very gracious and very, very thoughtful.”
The description from Fritz comes after emotional testimony by Peterson´s father and his half-sister yesterday.
Peterson was seen occasionally dabbing his eyes with tissue during yesterday´s session.
The 32-year-Peterson is facing either the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole.
